01Contact

For a question, a bug or an idea, email work@isidore.tech. Say which iPhone and which iOS version you use: it makes a problem much faster to find.

For a request about data we hold, such as the email you left on this website, write from that address and we'll act on it within one month, usually much sooner.

02Common questions

Where is my data stored?
On your iPhone, and nowhere else. The app has no account and no server: your workouts, weigh-ins, check-ins and progress photos stay in the app's own storage on your phone.
How do I back up my data or move it to a new iPhone?
Open Profile → Backup and tap Export my data. The app builds one file with your whole database and your progress photos, then opens the iOS share sheet: save it to Files or iCloud Drive, or send it by AirDrop. On the other iPhone, open Profile → Backup, tap Restore a backup and pick that file. Restoring replaces everything currently in the app and can't be undone. Export a backup before you delete or reinstall the app.
Do I have to connect Apple Health?
No. The app works fully without it and you can type your numbers by hand. If you want it, connect it from Profile → Apple Health. Bodymaxxing can then read your weigh-ins, your nutrition (calories, protein, carbs, fat) and your sleep, and write the weigh-ins you log back to Health. Each one has its own switch on that screen, and you can review access in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.
I'm not getting reminders, or the rest timer doesn't ring.
Reminders are local notifications created by your iPhone. Turn them on in Profile → Daily reminders. If you declined the iOS prompt earlier, allow notifications for Bodymaxxing in iOS Settings. For the end of rest, Profile → Rest between sets lets you choose between a notification and an alarm. A notification only vibrates in silent mode. Alarm mode always rings and needs iOS 26 or later.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app from your iPhone: its database, photos and widget data go with it. Your training and health data were never uploaded, so there is nothing to delete on our side. Backup files you exported stay where you saved them, and weigh-ins written to Apple Health stay in Health: delete those there. If you left your email on this website, the Privacy page explains how to have it removed.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. Bodymaxxing is iPhone only for now. Leave your email on the home page and we'll tell you when it lands on Android.
Something looks wrong, or the app crashed.
Email work@isidore.tech with your iPhone model, your iOS version and what you were doing when it happened. A screenshot helps.

03Not medical advice

Bodymaxxing is a training tool, not medical advice. Its programs, weights and nutrition targets are general guidance and do not replace a doctor, a dietitian or a physiotherapist. If you have a health condition, an injury or any doubt, talk to a professional before you start or change a program.

04Privacy

What the app and this website do with your data, in plain words, is on the Privacy page: what stays on your iPhone, what the app reads from Apple Health, and how to have anything deleted.
